Through upcycling, we obtain our cosmetic extract by sourcing the marcs, which are the by-products of cultivation, from the Union of Santorini Cooperatives/Santowine. This marks the first time that the great volume of Santorin Grape vinification by-products is not discarded, but rather used to produce a cosmetic extract. After the marcs have been dried for 48 hours under the bright Greek sun, we extract them using only natural solvents following a 100% zero-waste process. Any solid residue is composted and upcycled into organic fertilizer, returning to the soil to nourish the very crops from which the marcs were derived. The valuable Greek Grape extract is incorporated in our Santorini Grape skincare collection.

Powered by Santorini Grape extract, enriched with antioxidants and condensed tannins from the volcanic ash it thrives in, the formula effectively eliminates excess oil and minimizes pores. Volcanic sand acts as a soft-focus agent offered by nature blurring imperfections and improving the skin's radiance. It also offers anti-pollution protection by preventing the adhesion of urban pollutants to the skin. With its ability to absorb excess sebum, it provides a natural satin finish, resulting in a more compact and flawless appearance. Green and White clay work in synergy for optimal oil absorption. Activated Charcoal contributes to pore-refining; a unique ingredient encapsulated in cellulose and mannitol works as a sponge for impurities and oiliness leaving pores clearer and the skin shine-free.
